SightCRR Posted February 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2016 We will be in Monte Carlo one week after the F-1 race. Will any of the F1 cars be still there that we can see and will some walkways / roads still be blocked off? Plan to do the car museum and walk part of the track especially around the casino and tunnel if we can. Any other car viewing tips besides standing in some of the round abouts? Thanks Sightcrr
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2016 I've been there before the race a couple of times and then have been there at the race (we went) in 2015. I don't believe there would be any car viewing. The roads would be open. It just will be challenging to navigate yourself on sidewalks until all the stands are removed. Rare Hlitner Posted February 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2016 Unlikely that any cars (from the race) will be sitting around for viewing. The race schedule is pretty busy and most of these cars undergo lots of work between races. Most likely, they will all be gone within a day of the race and back to their respective garages and/or on their way to the next race location. Even before the race (we have been to MC within a day of the Grand Prix) the only obvious sign of the upcoming race were the many Grandstands (still being constructed) along the race course. sailing canary Posted February 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2016 I have to agree with Hank. The Canadian GP takes place in Montreal on June 12, so it's more than likely that all the cars will be in Canada by the time you get to Monte Carlo.
