Oh my gosh, the size of the balcony is fantastic. That's one reason I've shied away from the Royal or Regal. We are huge balcony lovers. I'm going to have to reconsider. Now, if you show me a true promenade deck it would seal the deal.

Looking forward to the rest of the cruise.

Us too , that's one of our main factors for cabin choice - but not all balconies on the R class are equal !!! And we can show you a true promenade - but not on the R class

Our favorite : Deck 3 HAL Zaandam in Patagonia

Wow, I knew the allure was large but landing a plane on her is awesome. I do think it would be safer using Harrier Jump jets instead though.;)

Agreed on the Harrier , but the plane in question looked kinda small , maybe it was a drone

We passed some pricey properties on our sail out and behind this one was a man with a megaphone and holding a baby ( the little red dot ) .

We were taking some photos of the building where the Port Everglades Webcam is located when this Osprey flew into the frame .

The enlargement is grainy , but you can see the webcam and it's microphone in the green circle .

We were waving to some friends on the webcam and one of them shared this photo of us . Thanks Nancy !!!

We recorded the sail away on a camcorder and posted it online here :

At the 15 second point you can faintly hear the Love Boat theme , but the prop wash was loud !! And at the 2:50 mark you can see some surfers trying to surf the ships wake .

We had requested traditional dining , first seating as we like to get to know our waiters and it was located aft , directly below our cabin . However, we were assigned anytime dining which means we can choose from the Symphony or the Concerto both located Midship .

It had been a long day , but after dinner we went up to the MUTS where the Superbowl was beginning . Without jackets it was quite cool and breezy . With an early morning stop in Princess Cays the next day we decided to call it an early evening . :) :D

The problem is the noise and vibration from the Harrier is too much . Have actually been on the side of a runway when 2 landed. They are very impressive.
