debgreg Posted February 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2016 Looking at the pay restaurants on the Ovation and they say From £33, from £17 etc, i have looked through the sample menus and i can't see any additional charges on the menu, does anyone know what it means ? Thanks
spookwife Posted February 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2016 it means prices start at that amount and go higher. not all Ovation restaurants are included in the price of the cruise.
debgreg Posted February 27, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) Sorry i dont think i phrased my initial question right. I have booked the complimentary restaurants but i was thinking of booking a couple of the others. As it says FROM I was wondering if it says from £33 , could it potentially be more and if so, how do you know how much more ? Thanks Edited February 27, 2016 by debgreg

Thanks Basically the from price is for the majority of the menu but for example at chops there will be a certain cut of steak which will be a little extra That is why its "from" But pretty much 95% of the menu is included in the from price Heres example of chops menu and you can see the specials http://www.beyondships2.com/uploads/8/2/4/5/8245255/chops.pdf Edited February 27, 2016 by The_0neuk

Rare orville99 Posted February 27, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2016 Depending on what you order, it could end up Far "From":)
cb at sea Posted February 27, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 27, 2016 That means they can charge you whatever they want to....they can change prices at any time...for any reason.
Clarea Posted February 27, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 27, 2016 It means, don't ever expect the price to be below what they say, and it's probably going higher.

Oasis cruise. I booked Chops via the I/A tv and the price came listed was $39, however, in the body describing the restaurant it said $45. Went to GS and was advised that the $39 was for lunch and the $45 was for dinner--therefore, the "from" is as such.
GUT2407 Posted February 28, 2016 #10 Share Posted February 28, 2016 It means that's the low price and it goes UP from there.
