ahecht Posted March 10, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 10, 2016 http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/shipid:375440/zoom:10 Very strange, they got within about 10-15 miles of Key West and before turning around. AIS still listed their destination as KEY WEST when they went out of range three hours ago.
cb at sea Posted March 10, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 10, 2016 Maybe the passengers were misbehaving, and the Captain said, "If you don't behave, I will turn this ship around and we'll go right back home. Is that what you want?"
cruisefan0110 Posted March 10, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) Could be it is too choppy to dock in Key West. We had that situation on Majesty and it turned into a sea day. Edited March 10, 2016 by cruisefan0110

mo&fran Posted March 10, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 10, 2016 pretty windy here today. Key West reports 20 kts out of the east. we were in Nassau a few weeks ago on Oasis when Majesty was following us and turned around and left due to the wind.
