MLife Cards onboard Royal ships

Recommended Posts

I am not certain, but I don't believe so. My husband and I are MLife members but we got our cards in Vegas.

When I called the Casino Desk at RCL to register our status with our reservation I asked if we needed to bring our cards and was told no, it wasn't necessary. They have our information and only need to be sure to use our sea passes when we use any of the slots, or to give them to the dealers at the tables.

Can we pick up MLife cards in the casinos on RCCL ships? Specifically Anthem? I just signed up for MLife but I don't think I'm going to get to a casino before my July sailing.

I think you have to pick them up at an MLife casino. They don't mail them.

Thank you. Since I just signed up online, I don't have a number or anything. Maybe I'll calI the Casino Desk and ask them if I can start to accumulate Mlife points onboard.

MLife cards can only be obtained via Vegas casinos.

It's best to board ships with your unexpired MLife card in hand.

If you don't have the card, the casino host will email your personal information to an MLife contact to determine your status level. Takes them a day or two to get a response. RCL doesn't have onboard access to the MLife database.

As an MLife member' date=' does RCCL rate your play automatically or do you need to let the pit boss know. They always ask for my SEAPASS but I never certain that I'm being rated ...[/quote']

Dealers/pit bosses usually have a way of tracking and rating one's play. But it's a good idea to let the boss know you're looking to be rated.

They'll pay attention if your average play/table bets are $50+. My experience is that they'll ignore you if it's less than that.

Does your play on the ship get applied to your MLife account?

Erika

No. Play while aboard RCL ships does not accrue nor is play reflected in your MLife account. The relationship between RCL and MLife is reciprocal only for the purpose of extending onboard benefits, i.e. free drinks and waiving cash withdrawal fees.

Soooo, basically, if I'm not a whale in MLife, then it's not worth reaching out to RCI Casino host to connect my account.

Thanx,

Erika

I just have an update after successfully adding my Mlife number to 3 previous Celebrity cruises as well as to 1 RCCL cruise.

I called down to RCCL today and they have made some changes to this program and are no longer allowing us to add our Mlife number to a cruise if made as a group booking.

I love this benefit and don't really criticize them for any changes they make to this program but I just wish they would notify people when they do so. Every time I call down there, something else has changed .... but only with RCCL so far and not with Celebrity. Keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't also change with them, too.

They can be obtained at any MGM Casinos. There is a new MGM casino near Washington DC. You can also get them there. Borgata in Atlantic City is also a new MGM casino, but they are not ready to change over yet. I was at the Borgata yesterday and they will be changing over sometime soon. It doesn't have to be in Vegas.

Just wait until Phase IV of new Club Royale is rolled out.

So, who do I call or email to connect my M Life card to my Harmony of the SEas cruise? I am only a slot player, but if I can earn some points that would be great....

These are the numbers I have ... not sure if one is for Mlife and the other is for the casino on RCCL ... but will give them both to you and hopefully one will work for you.

Be sure to check back and let us know how it worked out for you.

PS -- I had gambled quite a bit on my Sept RCCL cruise but noticed no change in my points on my Mlife account. I called and then they added them. If you gamble a lot and notice no change, you may have to let them know.

We are currently on Rhapsody and were told that if we have M life status because of RCCL status, we can no longer receive the M life benes (dinner, drink coupons, obc cash out fee waiver) if we are booked through RCCL.

Crown and Anchor benefits and M life cannot be combined. So unless you book your cruise through M Life or have an M life card via gambling points with MGM, the card does not get anything onboard the ship.

I am not sure what that entails. Good or bad for us?

Depends..... on your play/$$$/time... it is now or moving too a point based system similar to Casinos in Vegas.

In the past, once invited in to Club Royale VIP, always a member, regardless of your current play. Now, it is more based on current play, not what one did in the past. It is also more difficult to earn points.

Others on here explain the system much better than i do. I just love to play, it is entertainment for me.

I have been waiting 8 weeks and still my points have not appeared on my MLife account.

How long did you have to wait?

This is a benefit they claim to have, but I've never had Mlife points added to my account for Royal Caribbean activity. Even when they are booked through the casino using my "free" MGM cruise.

You pretty much have to contact Mlife to have them added. We actually gambled quite a bit on our last cruise, which was in November. We just didn't bother to have them added ... maybe we should ... but not sure if it is worth the trouble. It won't boost us to the next level.
