Rare Womble99 Posted March 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Well has it finally happened? Seems like they have finally signed off this time according to the media reporting to include Australia on the visa free entry list. It is even included in a press release from the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia Sydney office No more $35USD on entry, once they sort out the process ;) (how hard can it be to add another name to the current list?) sewgood Posted March 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Good to see especially when you are just there for the day on a cruise ship.
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted March 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Princess states "Please note this voyage is not eligible for the Visa-Free Short Visit Program. " so it will be interesting to see what happens.
maxmia Posted March 21, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Re Visas. Do we need extra photo's for the Vietnam Visa? We did a land tour 3 years ago, and needed to apply directly to their Immigration. but that only lasted 90 days. We are letting Princess do the Visa, so I hope we don't need one for Indonesia now, seems a bit up in the air at the moment.

Good news. Hope its for everyone. The local Officials wont be happy as that was a lot of money passing through their hands each time a ship called. Wonder how much of what the ship had to charge actually went to the Govt?

I wonder if they would do a 'Nelson' when asked by the Government about the money. Edited March 22, 2016 by MicCanberra
windsor26 Posted March 22, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Princess states "Please note this voyage is not eligible for the Visa-Free Short Visit Program. " so it will be interesting to see what happens. This is because it generally only is relevant to airport entry but there are cruise ports mentioned in the visa forms
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted March 22, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) Benoa is not listed as a point of entry, but it is listed as a point of departure. Edited March 22, 2016 by OzKiwiJJ
