Fort Lauderdale hotels

Any recommendations for a one night stay in Fort Lauderdale before a cruise

from Port Everglades?

We have stayed a Embassy Suites, cocktails at night and breakfast in the morning included.. No free shuttle but it is only a mile from the cruise terminal. Taxi from airport was 17.50 and about 7 dollars to the pier..

Let me add that there is a Total Wine store across the street if you need to take some with you at boarding. happy cruising

We like the Springhill Suites in Dania Beach. Free airport shuttle and free shuttle to the cruise port.

I too would stay at the Embassy Suites.

 

It is located near many restaurants and has a terrific breakfast in the morning.

 

A short drive to the port.

My hotel of choice is the Marriott Renaissance on 17th St., or probably anything on 17th.

Embassy Suites also has a restaurant which offers lunch on the patio.

17th St. is a good place for walking to shops and restaurants.

 

We also like the Holiday Inn Express on 17th St. which did have an airport shuttle. (Check website for update.)

Another vote for Embassy Suites.

We have stayed at both the Embassy Suites and Renaissance in Fort Lauderdale and would recommend both of them.

 

The Embassy has a beautiful outdoor area to enjoy beverages and scenery. The free breakfast is also very impressive.

 

The Renaissance is right by the Bemini Boatyard, which is a great place for food and drink and there are many types of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

 

Both are great choices and we'd stay at either again.

We were not happy with Hyatt Place but really enjoyed the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Blvd...near shops galleries, and restaurants

We like Fairfield Inn on Griffin Rd., Dania Beach. Great breakfast and you can leave your car free for up to 21 days. $10 p/p shuttle to Port.
