MikeBTN Posted April 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2016 Doing a side-to-side - sailing out of Miami Sat-Sat then out of Port Canaveral Sun-Sun. Besides renting a car any ideas to get from Miami to Canaveral? Trying to make the trip as relaxing as possible :-)
CruiserBruce Posted April 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2016 You can fly- there are a few flights. There is train. Do a quick search, this is discussed pretty regularly here.
Capt_BJ Posted April 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2016 rent the car . . . if you try to fly or train it will take longer and cost more and still leave you in Orlando needing to get to Canaveral which is easiest by renting a car .... the drive is EASY, straight up I-95 ... about 200 miles with traffic moving at 75 . . . . I totally agree, but MikeBTN wanted the other options.
Rare Keith1010 Posted April 16, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 16, 2016 I too would rent a car. Too risky to fly and a lot of wasted time if you are trying to fly in that day. Keith
EatonDoolittle Posted April 16, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 16, 2016 Looks like these people could get you to Cocoa Beach. http://www.thefloridaexpressbus.com/shuttle-to-port-of-miami-cruise-terminal.html Not sure about the timing, tho, but you could check them out if you are completely opposed to driving. MikeBTN Posted April 16, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted April 16, 2016 While flights are certainly easier, the cost just doesn't make sense. Thanks for the replies, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. We'll just drive!

Thanks for the replies, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. We'll just drive! you are wise obi wan 90% of the options are Miami to ORLANDO, leaving you with the Orlando to Canaveral problem which is most often solved with a rental car . . . As one living in Canaveral and regularly sailing from Miami I face the same issue from a different direction ..... driving is cool ... but parking in Miami stinks . . . .
