Ship to ship in Civitavecchia

Please tell me the best way to get from one cruise line to another in Civitavecchia. Coming in on Celebrity and leave the same day on Princess.

Civi is not a particularly walker friendly port, but some people do. Your other ship might be adjacent. Worst case you take the free shuttle to the gate, and transfer over to the free shuttle going to the other ship.

You likely can just walk between the ships.

I wouldn't count on being able to walk between ships as some berth further out from the pier next to the old fort, which is where most of them used to dock in the past. If you are lucky they may berth alongside each other but if not it will be simple to catch the port bus to the main gate and then back to the relevant ship.

 

I would just wait until you arrive and check where the second ship is.

Celebrity often docks at Pier 25. If so, the other cruise terminals are not anywhere near pier 25.
