Rare pierces Posted November 6, 2016 Author #26 Share Posted November 6, 2016 I shot this with a fisheye to add my own distorted reality. After desaturating and bumping contrast and detail, I had to add the screen in PS from a different HDR exposure. Strange Movie...Doctor Strange, that is. Rare pierces Posted May 23, 2017 Author #27 Share Posted May 23, 2017 I had some shots that just screamed to be rendered in B&W. I couldn't stand the screaming, so I did it just to shut them up. Stormy Equinox Captive Cruiser Bad Lenses Ok folks...YOUR TURN! Take a minute and have some fun. Your photos feel unloved if you just take them and forget about them. :) Dave
Rare pierces Posted October 18, 2017 Author #28 Share Posted October 18, 2017 Sifting through some old photos during my ongoing project to clean up all the old directories. Spokane river after the rain melted a lot of snow. Used Silver Efex Pro to make them pop a bit. Dave
11Bravo Posted October 18, 2017 #29 Share Posted October 18, 2017 My friend is a dedicated climber and cave explorer. When she was captured with her hands out in an unorthodox manner, plenty of people commented on what she was doing. “Eating the world’s largest ear of corn,” “holding a giant pack rat” or “breaking her air guitar.” I brought their thoughts to life. WYTinman Posted February 20, 2018 #30 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Not Photoshop, but I was playing with the HDR photo merge in Lightroom. I attempted to create HDRs from a few Iceland pictures taken in 2013 with my old SONY A100. Jpegs under - correct - over exposed, then HDR merged. What do you think? Victress2007 Posted June 4, 2018 #32 Share Posted June 4, 2018 I found a new program today, DAP 5 (Dynamic Auto Painter). It can save some ok pictures into interesting paintings. I took a water taxi out of this one. Vic
Rare pierces Posted June 4, 2018 Author #33 Share Posted June 4, 2018 Every year, my daughter spends what must be hours scouring Pintrest for birthday photo ideas. This year was the Obvious Photoshop theme. A background with a dinosaur that she purchased plus Matthew "riding" the back of a recliner with flash at the same position as the dino picture. Giant flamingo inflatable plus shot of Seven Mile Beach pier from the archives...and about 50 shots of Jackie as she went from smiles to laughter to (fake) tears to pout to jumping on flamingo like a trampoline and generally running around like a ferret with a sugar rush. Oh, and the "2" balloon that kept spinning in the wind. Glad that's over for another year. Dave

masterdrago Posted January 1, 2019 #46 Share Posted January 1, 2019 I'm not a big user of PS but I do sometimes use my version 6. I've found better and less expensive editing packages to use. The first example needed some very slight enhancement of the silhouetted colored flowers in the foreground. It was taken in 2008 on Lake Travis at the Oasis Restaurant. In the 2nd example, I needed to get rid of two characters for my Mother-in-law's calendar. PhotoShop worked great but has a sharp learning curve. Oakman58 Posted January 6, 2019 #47 Share Posted January 6, 2019 Great job taking the two people out of the photo. I only do the simple things with my Photoshop Elements program. I like this image of the Elijah P. Lovejoy memorial but I didn't like the vehicle in the photo and the power lines. I cropped the photo, took out the power lines, and resized it. Original picture. Photoshopped image.

Dan_K Posted January 7, 2019 #50 Share Posted January 7, 2019 "At the Bar." My vision for this photo had the people in total silhouette. Basically, exposed for the background then further reduced the exposure of the people in post.
