Belle Posted June 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2016 Remember those days when we were carefree Running, playing, and going on vacations to the sea All the exercise we would get everyday We just had fun didn't know we were getting exercise in any way Don't we wish we could get exercise and not know we were doing it Now we think about it and think it's a chore and want to sit Lets make believe we are younger and lets have fun Ride our bikes, swim, walk around the block or go for a run We were so busy going here and there we forgot to eat Wouldn't it be nice now if we forgot to eat food and sweets So lets drink our water and think how we are going to exercise today And all of our Hazy Lazy Summer Days, just not the day we weigh So go Enjoy Yourselves and have a Happy Summer! MOcruiserman Posted June 9, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2016 Good morning Belle, and all the other cruisers watching the scale. This week I found out why my back's been hurting. I have something called spondylolisthesis, which means that one or two of my vertebrae are out of alignment. Other than physical therapy there's not much that can be done. My doctor told me that one of the main reasons why this happened is my excessive weight over a period of many years. And the best thing I can do for myself is continue to lose. So this gives me even more motivation to stick with it. After a slow start last week, I buckled down and lost a pound - down to 196.5, a total of 29.5 since I started on Feb. 9. 16.5 to go until I reach my goal weight. I hope everyone is doing well. I ham on weight watchers and have two cruises coming up later this year (August & October) I'm feeling VERY motivated with me eating, I need to get my exercising on track! Starting at 169 here. Hope everyone has a good weekend that gives you a loss and not a gain. See there are cruises coming up for some. Know you'll have a good time and trying to lose some weight for the cruise is nice. Just remember whatever you lose is good even if not as much as you want. Eating right and getting healthy and losing weight is something we need to do for life. Exercise was so much easier when we were young!;) Welcome to the new posters & congrats to all losers.:D I'm amongst the losers this week having lost 2 lbs! We got a new scale but it's pretty close to the other one so the number is valid but amazing to me! violetmoon1979 Posted June 13, 2016 #13 Share Posted June 13, 2016 Hi everybody! Sorry I'm late :p We had a 3 day weekend for the Queen's birthday so I haven't really been home. It's starting to cool down, weather has been great. Seasons are opposite here, so when it's your summer, it's our winter and vice versa. For the first time since I started in January, I'm up 400 grams this week. That's roughly one pound. I'm not bummed or anything, I'm actually surprised I made it all this time without a gain considering how horrific some of my weeks have been. I'm starting yoga back up on Tuesday. However, instead of doing it in my living room where my cat can break my leg again, I'm going to a studio. My leg is still achy, so I don't want to push it too much. Hope everyone has a great week!
