No problem paying port fees. These are for overnights from Seattle to Vancouver

HAL Fare = 38

Port Fee = 40

Total 78

Princess Fare = 69

Port Fee = 30

Total 99

NCL Fare = 39

Port Fee = 113

Total = 152

Can you see what the problem is?

Just looked at HAL again, since I'm on that one, and it says $138 for two, not $38. Unless you've found someplace with a really great price. :D Also, port fees are $49.50.

Oh, different ship and different day. Didn't you say you need Sept 25? Looks like Maasdam does that run on the 26th and the price went up. Amsterdam is on the 25th and it's $69 pp for inside GTY (the only thing available) and $49.50 for port fees.

A few of us on the NCL Pearl Pacific Coastal cruise on the 26th are taking the HAL Amsterdam to Vancouver on the 25th. I love the idea of taking a cruise to embark on my cruise. :D

We were stuck in Boston thanks to a storm named Sandy. We sat in port for an extra day and a half and not charged port fees. Obviously since we would all be very unhappy. But we did miss a port because of the delay and I think that is one that we did get those port fees back.

We may have been on the same cruise -- I was routed to Boston during Sandy as well!

I believe it was onboard the Gem, and we missed the DR stop.

Yes, Gem was sent to Boston - I remember seeing it on a webcam there.
