Doing the Star in Alaska next summer. My favorite drink is draft beer. What options can I expect? While I'm at it, what can I expect as bottle options also? Thanks.

OP...recent discussions about draft beer indicate that Stella Artois is being replaced by Heineken and also Boddingtons is available on tap.

 

Several years ago in Alaska they had Alaskan Brewing Amber in bottles but don't know if they're still available.

It is appearing there is not much variety of draft on Princess. Do all places offer the same two or three choices? Is there any one bar that has more than the two or three? We are talking Star Princess remember.

 

This has been disappointing news. My wife and I are returning to Princess after trying NCL and RCI over the last few years. RCI Liberty of the Seas last summer impressed me both with their draft selection on the ship, and the options for the bottles.

 

Hope this won't be a Princess deal breaker when we return to our Caribbean cruises. We are looking forward though to our return to Princess. It has been about 7 years. Caribbean Princess was our last one.

I'm confused. Is the OP asking about craft beers or draught beers?

 

On Royal Princess last week the only draught beers were Heineken and Boddingtons.

 

The best selection of craft beers I ever saw was on Celebrity's Reflection where they had a bar dedicated to craft beers

They used to have both Alaskan Amber and Alaskan Summer. Not any more. :( They have been replaced with the awful Seawitch beers. One thing we appreciated on HAL this summer was their wide variety of Alaskan Brewing beers.

The RDA on Aluminum is apparently 12+ cans a day, if I judge from some I have seen on cruises.

Yes , Stella Draft was also available on the Grand and Golden in the recent past
