Celebrity sightings ?

I've never seen a celebrity on Carnival. I'm guessing Carnival wouldn't be the first choice of a person with excessive money to spend. Years ago I did cruise with James Brady on Norwegian Wind to Alaska from Vancouver. He was in a wheelchair post-assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan. Brady's wife Sarah was playing on a progressive slot machine in the casino, and when she moved to another machine, I hit the progressive slot she had been playing. She was kind of rude to me. At the time it happened, I did not know who she was, but found out before the cruise was over. That was my first ever cruise to Alaska. I found out before the cruise was over from cruise staff that Sarah and James cruised on Norwegian every year to Alaska.

I could have sworn I saw Woody Allen in the MDR on a Princess Cruise from Alaska. He was even with a much-younger Asian woman

My ex-husband said it wasn't him, and it probably wasn't, but it looked just like him.

We did see Jerry Springer in London once, and Donald Trump yesterday.....not on cruises tho :o

I feel sorry for The Things sometimes...we watched some (probably drunk) women get VERY er..handsy..with The Things during the one night where they were out doing the photo shoots. Yikes!

We were on a cruise with Richard Simmons once. He brought his weight loss group with him. it was fun sited him around the ship. Carnival does celebrity sailings which you probably pay a significant up charge for. I know New Kids on the Block do a quick 3 or 4 day sailing every year and then there are the country western star cruises.

Did the cruise with Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20) he was around the ship and did photo ops. There was a UFC fighter on the Liberty (my DH recognized him, I did not) and one time there was a couple porn stars on the Valor (as pointed out by a group on the lido deck....not recognized by DH (or at least not admitted to lol)...

Your way more likely to find a celeb in McDonalds than Carnival.

Once saw Sinbad at our local Taco Bell.

Don't understand the hero worship of celebrities and sports stars.

Once you've seen them drop sushi in their lap, yell at their kids to get off the market shelves or come out of the girl's HS bathroom they loose their luster.

I was on the cruise when they were filming the Chipwrecked movie, so I met Alvin and the guy that plays Dave. Also got to be an extra in the movie. Not sure if it counts though cause they wouldn't have been on the ship if they weren't filming.

We also had him on a cruise. It was probably the same cruise, the Valor 2007. His cabin was a few doors down from us. We talked to him several times. In fact he initiated most of the talks. When we were getting ready to disembark he talked to us about how worried he was that some of the people would not stick with their exercise and eating plan. He really seemed to care.
