Stupid question

Sailing on RC for the first time in January. It dawned on me that on NCL, we've always posted cash for onboard expenses. I never occurred to me that RC might not take cash and might only take credit cards. So tell me, veteran cruisers, doe RC take cash for that?

Thanks!

You can set up a cash account with Royal.

Royal does not require you to put any cash down but will ask you to pay down your account once your bill reaches $500 for 7 day cruises and $300 for shorter cruises.
