atgood Posted March 14, 2017 #1676 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Why are there always more at Cozumel. Lol. Wait, $1 beer. That helps. B/c Royal doesn't dock long enough in SJU and Nassau and the bars are practically right there at the end of the pier in Coz. Cheap alcohol helps too. atgood

gibby937 Posted March 14, 2017 #1678 Share Posted March 14, 2017 (edited) Just booked May 25 2018 corner aft balcony. RCI vacation planner called me and said that they are released tonight for C&A, tomorrow for all others. So I booked! I had sent an email about two months ago stating that I wanted to book early. Very excited! 5-25-18 Explorer 6D corner aft balcony $3300.18 including tax for 2. Edited March 14, 2017 by gibby937

Seamingo Posted March 14, 2017 #1682 Share Posted March 14, 2017 I just did a dummy booking on Symphony and made it all the way through to the money part :D -- I'm on iPad/Safari. I had to clear my browser history a couple of days ago -- I was getting a blank screen. Thanks for your help. I was getting the blank screen on RC website as well. Clearing cookies in Safari (iPad) worked for me also.

Beachammo Posted March 15, 2017 #1684 Share Posted March 15, 2017 Thanks, Shelton! So what do you gather is the effect of the new categorization? Cheaper? More expensive? It was $380 more for the aft wraparound (cabin 9256) than a balcony hump (cabin 9588). They use to be the same! I'm guessing the old E category would of been cheaper?? Didn't ask.... The agent I just spoke to asked if I was interested in a cruisetour. I was not so did not but her asking the question implies they are.

I am on hold for cruisetours department right now. Rep just transferred me to them so I would say they are available. Edit: Was able to add cruisetour to booking, so they are available too. SherriZ366 Posted March 15, 2017 #1690 Share Posted March 15, 2017 If you can reach your agent at any time, to take advantage of price drops, desirable cabins coming available, upgrades to higher categories due to above-mentioned price drops, then you've got it made. Those factors are my need for control. My sentiments exactly!! Can't tell you how many times I've snagged a stateroom that I have been watching at 10:45 PM Eastern Time. WillowHaven Posted March 15, 2017 #1693 Share Posted March 15, 2017 So happy to see the Pacific Coastals listed!!! There are very few balcony cabins available already. I have a hard time believing they are all booked up this fast on all the sailings. Any idea if it could be glitches with the new category system? We had cabin #1388 last year on a 7 day sailing and I would absolutely love to have it again.

If I remember from last yr it's when Australia dates are which is week of April 3rd... But I think I remember one yr they were split up, Explorer was one week and Radiance another. Italy52 Posted March 15, 2017 #1699 Share Posted March 15, 2017 I was hoping for better pricing on the inside cabins this year. I am doing an 8-day northbound to Alaska (identical ports as Radiance but adding Sitka) and a 7 day southbound (identical ports as Radiance) back to back with Celebrity Millennium in May and still saving an additional $124.38 over Radiance. Oh well, maybe next year I will return to Radiance.

Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk We have 4, bringing our two kiddos. And I decided to call in. Both corner aft cabins on deck 10 were still available, so I put on on a courtesy hold. :D Paycheck comes through tomorrow, so gotta wait to actually pay the deposit. Just didn't want it to get away from me!
