Double points.....if it matters to you. Real Shampoo Coffee maker Silver Card - but it's only for bragging rights On some ships, you can eat dinner in a suites only restaurant. Cigar King Posted September 16, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2016 It's basically a bigger room. The perks that come with it are meh. Extra points are nice, but you are often paying a lot more, and I don't think that's a reason for booking them. All that being said, I love them. The other rooms seem so small, especially the bathrooms.

Since she specified the Grandeur, there is no suites-only restaurant.
Cigar King Posted September 16, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 16, 2016 There is one more "perk". You'll likely get an invitation to an event where they explain to you all the benefits of booking a grand suite or above. There are better ways to get a free drink. ;-)

Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted September 16, 2016 #10 Share Posted September 16, 2016 We've gotten a card in our room regarding this a few times. Very interesting. I will have to look for this the next time we have a JS. We are only in a balcony on our Harmony cruise. :D
cruzinlady1947 Posted September 16, 2016 #11 Share Posted September 16, 2016 If you get the corner aft JS on deck 7 of the Grandeur, you also get a walk-in-closet to die for. Loved it..... Gwen :)

Never, ever received any invite like that. One of the main reasons, besides the space and storage is the tub. I hate the tube showers in other cabins. Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted September 16, 2016 #14 Share Posted September 16, 2016 The one next door wasn't bad either.;) We had the next to the corner JS aft on Grandeur [7052] in May. It had a nice balcony, but was narrow and did not have a walk in closet. I would take a side JS for the additional room and to avoid the longer walk. cruzinlady1947 Posted September 16, 2016 #15 Share Posted September 16, 2016 The one next door wasn't bad either.;) I know, I was in that one on a cabin crawl and it was nice. But, it doesn't have the WIC, which is important to us women.:p Plus, the corner aft has a nice side view too.;) Gwen :)

Must be confusing it with something else since I thought that one had a WIC.
cb at sea Posted September 17, 2016 #17 Share Posted September 17, 2016 The size is enough of a benefit, IMO!
Cigar King Posted September 17, 2016 #18 Share Posted September 17, 2016 We have been getting the sales pitch for the suites since the new suite offering was made. As near as I can tell, the only people in attendance are in a JS. I'm guessing maybe it's not universal based on this thread?
luvscruising2007 Posted September 18, 2016 #19 Share Posted September 18, 2016 (edited) The one next door wasn't bad either.;) We will be in 7652 so I was wondering about your experience. This is our 1st JS and I can't get enough information. Do you have any pictures you can share? Thanks! Merion_Mom Posted September 18, 2016 #21 Share Posted September 18, 2016 Is there not a walk in closet in all the JS's? Not on the Grandeur. Not on the Vision class ships. Radiance, Voyager, Freedom and Oasis class, yes. Not sure about Quantum class.
Clarea Posted September 18, 2016 #22 Share Posted September 18, 2016 Is there not a walk in closet in all the JS's? No, in fact, very few JS staterooms on Vision class ships have walk-in closets.
