marnie2005 Posted September 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2016 Good day! Just got my cabin assignment for up coming Bermuda cruise... I have a portside balcony cabin on deck 10. Hoping it's going to work out that the ship will be docked as it is today in Bermuda... Portside!
dexddd Posted September 22, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2016 Good day! Just got my cabin assignment for up coming Bermuda cruise... I have a portside balcony cabin on deck 10. Hoping it's going to work out that the ship will be docked as it is today in Bermuda... Portside! Good luck. Historically the NCL ships docked portside about 2/3 of the time. This season has been different and with only a casual observation it seems to be more like 50/50. Some folks used to keep track of it so maybe they will post the actual #s for this season. SWFL Cruisers Posted September 22, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2016 It was docked starboard side when I went in July. Cheers!:D
SailBadtheSinner Posted September 22, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2016 Good day! Just got my cabin assignment for up coming Bermuda cruise... I have a portside balcony cabin on deck 10. Hoping it's going to work out that the ship will be docked as it is today in Bermuda... Portside! As far as I'm concerned, there is no bad side while docked in Bermuda at the Dockyard. Anyway, it is a crap shoot as to which side goes to the dock. The captain will decide based on which side requires maintenance, life boat testing & drills, and current weather conditions & forecasted. 3poundpuppies Posted September 22, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 22, 2016 We were there last week. It was docked starboard. I agree with the poster above, there is no "bad side" to be docked when there! It's beautiful whichever way you look!
Brighton Line Posted September 22, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2016 No bad side for Bermuda, great views from each. If the ship has to test the starboard side boats for the drill then the port will be against the pier. On a 7 day to Bermuda the weekly drill is done in Bermuda, since it's that or the home port. ;)

cruiservictor Posted September 23, 2016 #12 Share Posted September 23, 2016 She is docked port side alongside this week. I have been keeping track all year, and if I remember correctly it is now 12 port 9 starboard. We were on the 8/14 voyage and it was port side alongside. Hoping for the same when we are back on for the last Bermuda cruise of the year on 10/23.
dexddd Posted September 23, 2016 #13 Share Posted September 23, 2016 I "think" that BA actually swapped sides this week. Bluesea had it starboard and now port side and I seem to recall it being that way and switched possibly yesterday.
