But everyone else flies into Newcastle too, QANTAS, Jetstar, Virgin.

I know that Gut.....was referring to who flies Newcastle/Sydney, those airlines don't. I have flown on those airlines to and from Brisbane and Melbourne from Newy.

The media release says: It will be built at the Channel Berth within the Port's Carrington Precinct

Does that narrow it down or still vague? I don't know Newcastle well enough.

Not sure either but the video makes it look like Dykes Point.

Yep. Dykes Point.

Sadly, even though Newy is closer to us in km's, it is easier for us to fly to Sydney for a cruise.

If we drove to Newcastle (about 2.5 hours), we would have to park the car, probably the airport, not cheap......then get a taxi to the cruise terminal, so a costly exercise.

We use our FF points plus tax, so about $40 each way for our flights from Port Macquarie to Sydney.

A chance for enterprising residents in Carrington to rent out their driveways?
