Can't change sail date online

Anyone else not able to change a cruise to a different sail date on the Disney website?

Have you tried canceling and rebooking? That is the process you would need to follow.

No, in the past, you could just modify sail dates right on the website. I can change stateroom numbers, but not the cruise itself. I can call, of course. I just didn't want the hassle.

I believe to actually change the date, you have to call. Most other modifications: dinner seating; room category and the like can be done online, as that's really just a modification of the same cruise.

 

To change the cruise it's a cancellation and rebooking. Not just a modification.

I had to call to change the date and/or to cancel. I remember because I was irritated that I couldn't do it online. If it was an option before, maybe one too many people canceled online by accident and complained so that took away that option.

Since changing your sailing date results in a cancelation , it could cause problems with penalties , etc. , if guests had online access to

do a cancel/ rebook inadvertently . [emoji50]
