Obstructed OV - beds under window/against wall?

Just wondering about obstructed view cabins on deck 8 (Emerald) on Caribbean Princess. Is the bed under the window or against a wall?

We've had both configurations but as I recall it's most often under the window as shown in this photo of an unobstructed OV cabin.

We have had many OV cabins, and they have all been with the bed under the window. You can always have the twin bed configuration, and it is easier to see out your window. Otherwise, you have to kneel on the bed to get a good look out.

To the best of my recollection, Caribbean Princess oceanview cabins on Deck 8 all have the beds under the window, same as the previous Grand-class ships (Grand, Golden, Star).

However, the next generation build of Grand-class ships (Crown, Emerald, Ruby) have the beds perpendicular to the side wall in their Deck 8 oceanview cabins that do not have upper berths.

We just sailed the CB in September. Obstructed view - bed was against the wall. I think our cabin was E225. It looked like most of the cabins on the deck were setup the same way.

Thank you! I was hoping for an answer from someone who had actually sailed in one of these cabins on the CB.

Generally speaking (had a high school science teacher who used to say "All generalizations are false - including this one') if you have a quad cabin the beds will be under the window. If the cabin is only for two - no bunks - the beds will be on the side wall. EM
