Are there restrooms on the ship other then the one in your stateroom?

Many restrooms throughout the ship, outside of the casino, theater, MDR's. Some even in less traveled hallways like Conquest class deck 4 behind the old cigar lounge and art auction room.

If you need to use one, wash carefully afterwards to (hopefully) prevent any Noro.

Yes, there are public restrooms located in multiple locations throughout the ship. They tend to be located in the common, public areas. Near restaurants, bars, theaters, lobbies, pool deck, etc. On a deck that only has cabins on it, you typically only have the cabin bathrooms to use.

Thanks guys...I know it seems like a stupid question for some. But you never hear or see anything about it. I watch a lot of youtube videos and not once have I seen anyone mention it.

Here on CC is where you get answers to your questions. It's better for a first time cruiser to know what to expect. So don't hesitate next time.

Thank you I was wondering the same thing and just posted a question about the quality of the tp. I did see the map thing and it looks like there are lots scattered around but I just don't want to get trapped getting on and off the boat at stops as I heard there were long lines at times. Thank you again

Not the best tp - but it is what is needed for the ship's toilet system so don't bring your own. Trust me, the first time you flush...well a cruise ship potty makes a giant whoosh - almost scary at times.

I doubt you'll find a rest room close to where you exit or enter the ship in port. Yes there can be a very long line getting back on (usually closer to sailing time) and definitely no restrooms there as you are outside. Once back on the ship it may be a 5 minute walk to the closest one.

Yes. There are public restrooms scattered throughout all of the public decks.:D

And they are SUPER clean!!:D:D

Enjoy your cruise!!!

I have to disagree on that one. The men's on the Lido deck by the pool are usually filthy on sea days. Wet floors, those little paper towels to open the door with scattered all over. Toilet seats wet. Toilets not flushed. Makes you wonder if they do that at their homes too. The rest of the bathrooms are always clean but those by the pool on the Lido deck on sea days are definately not.

.....Toilets not flushed.......

Those automatic flushers don't always do their job. Many times I've had to push the hidden-in-plain-site button. It's either black or silver. Other times the vacuum system needs to recharge (or whatever it needs to do).

There would have to be rest rooms/changing stations by the pools. Last cruise was on RCCL (no FTTF). So we needed a place to change into our swim suits before we could get to our rooms.

Which there is. I was just commenting that on sea days, they are not clean by the pool. And on embarkation day, they are still dry because people aren't dripping wet when they change into their swim suits.

Someone we travel with takes water pills each day ... in order to leave the cabin in the AM they need to know where the nearest rest room is at all times

Print out deck plans - all of the restrooms are marked and whether they are mens or ladies. It handy to have when you're learning your way around the ship.

If you haven't done so already, you can familiarize yourself with the ship's deck plan:
