Once upon a time there was a separate line. I saw no evidence of it during my recent cruise on Infinity. We had to stand in line to re-board with everyone else. And we survived.

We had a discussion about the new Tuscan menu a while ago.having been on the Silhouette recently we tried it and it was great. Pasta is all freshly made. We went back later in the cruise and it was gve4y ood again. We were just making sure we made best use of the unlimited specialities with the room bit enjoyed both meal.

Gordon, our meal in Tuscan was good--certainly better than the last time I ate there. But I missed the service crew from Luminae. They were absolutely outstanding on the Infinity.

We felt the same. We had a lot of friends from Luminae on previous cruises as well. We turned up first night and the Maitre remembered us from March and one of the waiters who we knew well on the Eclipse, who should have been on the Summit, was there as well. Felt really special on the first night but we were unsure when we would next do an RS again , due to price rises, so we decided to make the most of what we had we didn't really make use of it plus I wanted to use Luminae to get the effect and feel of the new restaurant.

We enjoyed it very much and also enjoyed Luminae

If there is a "special" line for suites is it safe to assume that Elite and above are also entitled to that priveldge

Do you know what happens when you assume? :D

We were told it was only for suites and Zenith. :)

While re-boarding at ports when we've seen the miniature red carpet and the sign, the sign is specific that the priority re-boarding is limited to Suite and Zenith passengers.

We were on the Solstice recently on a cruise which included a port call at Benoa, Bali. Those who have been at this port realize that it is notorious for long lines forming to board the tenders along a pier which has no shade. The Hotel Director informed the Suite passengers that the Michael's Club concierge would be on the pier once the lines started to form to pull those of us in Suites out of the line and discreetly escort us to the front. This system worked quite well. And he was also pulling folks who had mobility problems out of the line as well.

Never sailed in anything other than a suite and enjoy the perks but some are just a bit too look-at-me to be worthwhile. On the odd occasion when we've used the reserved seating in the theatre it's felt strangely uncomfortable.

There was a red carpet and gold ropes line for at least one of the ports on our Silhouette cruise this year but we would never have dreamed of using it. I did see one Elite (?) member waltz up to the front and get politely asked to join the main queue.

If it was for a separate gang plank rather than stealing someone else's access I might be tempted........ if it was snowing as well. Even waiting in a short queue in Tromso, Norway while big, cold flakes were coming down I'd have been more than happy to walk the red carpet.

Just off Solstice on 8 Dec as a suite guest. At all ports during the cruise, there was a suite guest and elite plus line and square of carpet for re-embarkation. It was even at the jetty for return tenders from Akaroa, can't say for Bay of Islands as I did not go ashore.

At all other ports throughout our cruise I arrived back to re-embark at various times (early, mid and just prior) before re-board time, and not once did I see any guests take advantage of it. Sometimes there were queues (in Wellington with heavy rain) others not.

If this was/is a perk for suite and elite plus guests, I could take it or leave it and not notice.

Cheers and happy cruising

On our November Silhouette TA there really weren't any signs out but at one port when we showed our card they directed us to a separate gang way than the other cruisers, a different security line which was quicker getting through the scanner.

We are currently half-way through our Equinox cruise and there has not, so far been a suite line for reboarding. Our ports, so far, have been Bonaire, Aruba and Curacao. Our balcony has been immediately above the gangplank and, thus, we have been able to check all day. Even when there were long queue - sometimes in the rain - in Curacao, there were no separate queues.
