Rare island lady Posted December 1, 2016 #151 Share Posted December 1, 2016 Perhaps, I think my wife would agree or at least she has for the last 30 years.;) Wow...congrats on the 30 years! You two did it right the first time. The DH and I had to go round #2 to get it right, but this one took and has lasted over 20 years now! ;) :D
dreadpirate3 Posted December 1, 2016 #152 Share Posted December 1, 2016 I never miss sunrise out at sea. If I ever stayed in bed and missed it I'd be really disappointed with myself. Yes! I can always squeeze in a nap.

GUT2407 Posted December 1, 2016 #154 Share Posted December 1, 2016 Yes, at 6.45, there is still plenty of light to see everything and take some great photos. For midnight, the lights of Sydney and the harbour will be on show but a totally different aspect. Was meant to be 4:00, they moved it to 6:00 and I said "bet we don't leave at 6:00 peak hour ferry time then changed to 6:45. Though even 6:45 I'm thinking we may be a bit delayed still plenty of Ferry movements going on.

rkacruiser Posted December 2, 2016 #157 Share Posted December 2, 2016 Two favorites: Sitting on the balcony at sailaway time from a port with a glass of a good wine; Sitting on the balcony during the night in the dark, watching the night sky and listening to the ocean. leinhto Posted December 2, 2016 #160 Share Posted December 2, 2016 You got it!! Loved it. The obstruction is not as bad as it is made to seem. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk I'm thinking about the one to the left that sticks out further. I'm not to thrilled with the little half wall, though. This will be for an 11 night NZ cruise
framboesa Posted December 6, 2016 #162 Share Posted December 6, 2016 I must confess that the two times that we had balcony we were really excited (it was one upgrade)...but we never used it :) ...We prefer to stay "outside" where everything is happening :D It's nice to read the other opinions ;)
