Celebrity Solstice - double tragedy in Tauranga today

Recommended Posts

Appreciate this story link. Yes unusual and sad story. Two different incidents involving passengers from the same Solstice ship.

THANKS! Terry in Ohio

Enjoyed a 14-day, Jan. 20-Feb. 3, 2014, Sydney to Auckland adventure, getting a big sampling for the wonders of "down under” before and after this cruise. Go to:

Very sad indeed. My heart goes out to the families of those killed, to the passengers on the bus, and especially to the bus and truck drivers.

We had a medical emergency on Carnival Legend on Wednesday night. Instead of heading directly from the Isle of Pines to Sydney we had to detour closer to Noumea so that a helicopter could perform a medevac. It was in the middle of the night and apparently it went well, and the patient was in a satisfactory condition in Noumea Hospital last I heard.
