BeverlyS Posted November 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2016 We are thinking of doing the Crystal Caves through Cayman Safari Adventures. I did a cave tour in Cozumel and it was breathtaking. This one says it's 4 hours. We'd also like to go snorkeling in the sea, possibly through Native Way Watersports and that's a 3 hour excursion. If we have from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. there, would we be able to do both? Or are we pushing our luck?
bookbabe Posted November 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2016 Doubt you could do those two excursions, from two different companies on the same day. Probably not enough time. I'd ask Cayman Safari if they can stop somewhere for some shore snorkelling on the way back to the port. Or, do the cave tour and then just DIY some snorkelling at Eden Rock when you get back to the port.
cb at sea Posted November 29, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 29, 2016 You won't have time for 2 scheduled excursions. Pick one...do it..and if you have extra time, do something on your own. This is a DIY port, if there ever was one. No excursions needed in GC! It's so easy on your own!
OCruisers Posted November 29, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2016 By trying to do two, you will probably not fully enjoy either. Relax and take the one you most want to do. ;)
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 29, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Remember you have to tender both ways and the last tender back to the ship is likely around 3:00 PM. I think it is too much. Keith
BeverlyS Posted November 29, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Thanks everyone, that's what I figured, but wanted to make sure. I like the idea of asking Cayman Safari if they can stop somewhere for some shore snorkeling on the way back to the port!

How did it compare to the cave tour in Cozumel? What company did you do the cave tour in Cozumel and would your recommend them? Thanks for your help!
