Not able to print luggage tags in color- can they be put on by porters at port

HI- we only have a black and white printer-was able to use my neighbors printer in May to print my tags-just found out hers died- and we leave tomorrow to drive to FLL! Should I print them in Black and white-or what till we get to the port-for the porter to put on? HELP.Never had to do this before-is there a greater chance my luggage will get misplaced?:eek:

Back and White luggage tags work fine.

THANKS BOB- I feel so much better now! I was afraid they would end up in the "naughty room " and we would have to go down and stand in line with all the "criminals" trying to smuggle on all the non allowed RCCL items.:rolleyes:LOL. I had to go once when I brought on a case of bottled water-they thought it might have liquor in them-I showed them the unopened seals-and they were fine about it. I am picky about the brand of water I drink-do not care for RCCL brand-this was the only time I had a problem with it.

We've had the same experience a couple of times with water in luggage. Not a big deal.

As the usual wise Bob mentioned...black & white is just fine.

 

RCI only states that they "prefer" the tags to be in color.

Perhaps they hold stock in a color print ink company! :eek: ;)

 

I just print in black and white with no problems either. The tags

the porters do at the terminal are even less impressive...but

also still make it somehow to your cabin. :)

I use a marker to match the color online.

We just let the porters put on tags. It takes maybe 60 seconds:D and we seem to get our luggage pretty quick.

Good thing you posted this because I had the same problem!! The printer I was using was only printing in Black and white.. I was considering coloring it in lol! Good to know I won't have a problem either :) Have a great cruise
