Hello again everybody on Cruise Critic, and those watching the replay on Periscope!!!!!!!!

 

It’s Ken and Paulette, Diamond Plus cruise addicts from Queens NY. Fresh off the Thanksgiving Navigator sailing, we will be signing on to The Freedom of the Seas, for an 8 day sailing down to Labadee, San Juan, St Maartin and St Kitts.

 

 

We will be flying out of NY this evening, after work and boarding Freedom tomorrow in Port Everglades. There have been some great Freedom reviews over the last few weeks and we will do our best to keep things rolling. Following along. This is the same itinerary and ship as my Mar 4th cruise (very first ever).

Packed up and ready to go

 

 

We had a 1 star Uber ride to the traffic riddled LGA airport. (Never had an Uber driver stop for gas and refuse to help us with our luggage)

 

Quick check in and TSA Pre check screening. For a change, our flight was on time. Good Bye NYC

 

 

Dinner was so good I had to tweet American Airlines and let them know - pasta with garlic and artichoke sauce

He'll get there before the Christmas break for a couple... well maybe not. :D I was going to comment earlier, maybe it's more appropriate for Ken to live review when he's home as he seems to be at sea more than home.:p

Ten months ago a "cracked" writing unit was sent to the basement, after a tribunal of significant others and spouses declared that there was excessive CCing and periscoping - a crime they didn't commit. These men occasionally escape from their maximum security stockade, to the cruise world underground. Today, still wanted by their work, they survive as cruisers of fortune. Good luck on your cruise. We just got off this morning. We had a rough 24hrs sailing back. 2 Alpha calls, rough seas and very windy. We also had 2 expire in the week as well.

We got up at 7:30am and discovered great Florida weather

 

 

Time for a pre-cruise breakfast

 

 

 

Then headed to the port to drop off the luggage, then to FLL to drop off the rental car.

 

 

It was really crowded at 11am
