Passport Renewal

This will surely get moved, but I just wanted to report that I mailed in US passports for renewal on December 2 and received them back on December 15. Only 13 days for regular processing. I know this is unusually fast service, so don't depend on this kind of turn around!

That is fantastic. We are cruising next week and as soon as we get home, we will renew ours so that we can get back cruising. Had thought about paying more for quicker processing, but I think now we may just try the regular. We don't cruise again until March, so no rush.

Received mine in just under 2 weeks, as well. Not that I needed it that quickly, but I'm glad I didn't pat for expedited processing. [emoji23]

That has pretty much been the turn around time for the past few months. I would not expect it to continue in the new year with expected cuts in government services coming.

Ours took a little over three weeks. Could have been delayed because of the Thanksgiving holiday; we sent them out Nov. 18 and received them Dec. 12.

Mine too..... 16 days last month. Seems the average is somewhere between 2 and 3 weeks. It was a renewal. Original passport was mailed back separately and received a few days later.
