MIA airport hotel, transportation cost to Bayside or South Beach ?

Taxi should be about $30 and $40 respectively to those two destinations from hotels fairly close to the airport. From a Blue Lagoon-area hotel add about $5, an airport west/Doral hotel, add $15.

 

If looking for the least expensive options there is Metrorail to downtown Miami ($2.25) and an express bus to South Beach ($2.65) from the MIA transportation hub, if you can catch a ride from your hotel back to there.

Uber should be just over 1/2 of the expected cab fares - about 15+ to Bayside and $20+ to SB, depending upon where you choose to get out.

Having just taken UBER in Miami versus taking two cabs during our recent stay I would go with UBER. Price was about half. Professional and clean vehicle.
