brenderlou Posted January 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2017 Just booked a four night on the enchantment of the seas. Was curious if we have to go through customs again in Miami after going through customs in Key West. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Saab4444 Posted January 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2017 Key West is US immigration. Customs is in Miami (always after disembarkation and with luggage). Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Rare Rogueperson Posted January 17, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2017 Not exactly sure. On one of my Jewel of the Seas cruise, we missed Grand Cayman and was replaced with Key West. We were told that we would be passing through immigration in Key West, so we did all the immigration stuff on board (passports and everything) in Key West. When we returned to Miami, all we had to do was give them the customs form as we exited the terminal. No checkpoint.

You'll clear Immigrations in KW and Customs when you return to Miami. It's 2 separate processes. People tend to think the 2 are one-in-the-same because they are done by the same agency (CBP).
