ema_lark Posted January 23, 2017 #26 Share Posted January 23, 2017 Does anyone know if you can get non-dairy milk (almond, coconut) at the coffee bar? I occasionally like a latte, but I'm lactose free [emoji58] easy to get at Starbucks, just not sure at sea! Mrs.Gosse Posted January 25, 2017 #30 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Great question! I am dairy-free now and have two partial coffee cards that I will be using that I will be using this fall. I didn't read page two's responses but in the casino if I ordered a coffee they would check my card and give it to me free. Otherwise they would have charged me for it. The casino is supposedly one of the places where they brew the coffee and it isn't the concentrate. shirazcruiser Posted October 6, 2017 #31 Share Posted October 6, 2017 Is the punch good for a regular or large latte?
SimonaD Posted October 6, 2017 #32 Share Posted October 6, 2017 Is the punch good for a regular or large latte? Either one gets you a punch. Also asking for extra shot of espresso is included in one punch. Therefore, for maximum mileage, it makes sense to order it “to go” because then you actually get the large. The real cups are all the smaller size. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

JF - retired RRT Posted October 6, 2017 #34 Share Posted October 6, 2017 Also on the Ruby, you can get some gelato at the International Café. Depending onwho is working, you can get two scoops for a punch on your card. Greg IIRC, I got 3 scoops on one of our cruises (not the Ruby or Royal/Regal). elfinmagic Posted October 7, 2017 #36 Share Posted October 7, 2017 Can the coffee punch card be used in the dining room or specialty restaurants? Old thread but I have used it in MDR and it is iffy in the specialty dining rooms. I have always been able to get two cups of coffee with one card - but then - I do put some $ in their tip jar each day

When you said you used it in the MDR, were you able to order a latte or any other specialty coffee? Thanks for responding.
Zeldon Posted November 23, 2017 #38 Share Posted November 23, 2017 Sorry, I know it’s an old thread. Is there a difference in the coffee in different parts of the ship? It’s my first cruise, and I’ve heard mention of syrup or something. Basically - does this card get my better quality coffee, in addition to fancy coffee? Except for the newest Royal class ships, the complementary coffee is made from a concentrated liquid (syrup) coffee. With the Coffee Card, in addition to specialty coffee drinks that require a punch of the card, you get fresh brewed coffee and specialty teas (typically Mighty Leaf) without a punch. cruzsnooze Posted November 23, 2017 #44 Share Posted November 23, 2017 If you want to save on the coffee card there are usually some for sale on ebay from people who get them and don't use them from their Elite tier on Princess.

I don't like the coffee in the dining room or buffet - it's awful!! If I buy the punch card can I go to the place that they serve the lattes and specialty coffees on the ship and get FREE brewed coffee and they don't use my punch card at all? Will be travelling on the Regal Princess - haven't figured out where the "coffee bar" is yet. Thank you for clarification. Just don't want to buy this card and find that I can't get complimentary real brewed coffee or that I have to use a punch to get it.
pink845 Posted January 25, 2018 #46 Share Posted January 25, 2018 Black Forest Freeze. Yum. I believe I will be forgoing dessert in the dining room and having my dessert coffee at International Café. Thanks for the suggestion. Will end up with two of those coffee cards on the Crown next month as I am not interested in those mini bar free drinks I get as an Elite nor are we pop drinkers. So my coffee cards will be put to good use and what I don't use I will use on the Golden in April.
