Enough room for four + scooter. However, the hallway directly in front of cabin was not as wide as the rest of the hallway and as a result, it was difficult to maneuver the scooter in and out even though the doorway clearance was fine. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – nice view, no obstructions. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - standard balcony, standard size. Fit 2 chairs & table with not a lot of extra space. We moved the table most of the time into the front left corner near the door so we could put the 2 chairs in a position where we could both see without being blocked on the right by the divider. Was wind a problem? - No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Any specific problems with this cabin? - No Any other comments? - It seemed to have more storage than other cabins I've stayed in. Either that or I'm getting better at bringing less 'junk'! But instead of having the coffee table and desk area covered with all our stuff I was able to put everything away so it was much less cluttered... therefore I spent less time searching for all the things I 'lost'! Bathroom- we brought a half length shoe organizer I bought just for cruising... the bathroom was pretty good for storage with the glass shelves on each side, but the organizer on the door was very handy to grab stuff without having to go into the bathroom all the time. So stuff like sunscreen, lotion, hairbrushes, went into that and made it even more convenient.

Yes Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? No Balcony View - Fine, No obstructions. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal for the class, but 0.5x bigger than a standard balcony. Was wind a problem? - No. Any specific problems with this cabin? - Poor Wi-Fi Connection. Had to go in the hall to use Carnival Hub. I could access the Majesty's wi-fi in Nassau that was 3 docks away on the balcony, but not Carnival's... Rollaway Bed is very uncomfortable as it slouches towards the middle. Any other comments? - Great cabin and very close to the elevator without being noisy. The only bummer of this whole cabin was that the room steward was not very helpful nor his assistant. We had to repeatedly ask for the same thing in order to get it done. Hopefully this gets addressed.

Only having one US outlet is kind of annoying but I brought a non surge protector power strip. The bathroom is a little awkward, but again, nothing I couldn't deal with. Any other comments? - While the ship is old, it is well kept I feel and constantly saw people cleaning the ship and working around it. I never thought it was overly out of date. Our stateroom was in the perfect location. just a few levels down from the fun so if the elevators were nuts, we could easily take the steps. The lower deck where you get off for each excursion was also only a few flights as well so we always took the stairs when we left each morning. RWolver672 Posted October 16, 2017 #111 Share Posted October 16, 2017 We just returned from a cruise on the Paradise. We had booked Cabin M62. During one of the embarkation programs, we found that they had removed cabins M60 and M58 which was right next door to our cabin for debarkation in Cuba. On the night before we landed in Cuba, they started setting up for the next day by putting a baggage/passenger scanners right outside our cabin by the elevators. Then they blocked off our side of the ship's access to that area. You had to go back to the mid elevators to get anywhere. That was a slight inconvenience but the worst part came on the day we left Cuba. Passengers had to be back onboard by 5 AM. From midnight on, the passengers came back onboard after having fun at the local bars laughing and talking loud. The worst was at 5:01 AM when the crew started tearing down the embarkation equipment banging things around and all talking in loud voices. We lived through it and will have something to talk about for quite a while. I'm just posting this as a warning not to book cabin M62 or any in that area if you are a light sleeper. SadieN Posted October 17, 2017 #112 Share Posted October 17, 2017 (edited) Ship - Miracle Cabin 1204 Triple Starboard side Ocean View Cabin No issues hearing the disco from down the hallway, nor from the hallway. Cabin is narrower than other cabins. There is a pole in a corner of the closet and another in the corner by the nightstand. The shortened closet issue would have been ok if this Cabin was a double, but difficult as a triple. Edited October 17, 2017 by SadieN
SadieN Posted October 17, 2017 #113 Share Posted October 17, 2017 Ship - Splendor Cabin 7446 Double Aft facing balcony, don’t remember soot problems. Could hear the disco when on the balcony, not annoying but loud enough. Cabin balcony connects to 7455, other side (to 7446) is a steel wall. Cabin is narrower than other cabins. Hallway is very narrow, if you’re in any way wide your shoulders could hit both walls on your way in. The first closet is shallow, forcing the hangers to line up front to back. No noise from above and only occasional noise from the corridor. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Comments: we had three in the room and it was do-able, but we didn't bring too much, just one checked suitcase each. With the bed pushed together to form a king bed, the ladder for the upper berth had to be rigged at the end of the berth as opposed to the side (where it would normally go). This took a little getting used to. We liked that the room was just down the hallway from the door to the "secret decks" forward. Deck 10 has such a deck, and Deck 9's is accessible via a stairway and is even larger, with wings extending out over the side for great views and camera shots. It was also close to the elevators and close to the food and bars by the midship pool.

Top_of_the_Cube Posted November 3, 2017 #118 Share Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) Ship - Breeze (same as Magic) Deck - 12 (Sun and Spa deck) Stateroom # - 12008 Stateroom Category – Interior (4S) Starboard or Port Side - Port Quiet Stateroom? – Yes,mainly. It is the forward-most interior cabin of a dead end hallway, so very little traffic. It is next to the entrance door to the workout area, but I still did not notice much traffic. There may be some minor bumps heard through the wall caused by dropped weights, but hardly noticed by my wife and me. Reading comments from others who had this room, I did not find any who seemed bothered by the occasional noise. But, be aware of this in case it might be an issue for you. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Any specific problems with this cabin? - This is NOT a problem, but be aware that the layout of this cabin is NOT the same as a typical interior (or even Spa interior). If you are researching and see a stock photo or floor plan showing a room similar to every other interior room, this is NOT representative of the actual room. Cabins 12012, 12018, and 12022 have the same design as 12008. Any other comments? - This is a Cloud 9 Spa cabin. Check Carnival’s web site to see the perks that come with any Cloud 9 Spa cabin. Personally, DW and I loved the room and the Spa access, and have booked the same stateroom for next year, before the Breeze leaves Galveston as its home port for Cape Canaveral.
