This seems different than what someone posted recently.

They had the Caribbean posted for March 7th

Oh what to do know:confused: I wanted to book the southern caribbean (May 2018) while onboard in middle March.

If they are not released yet just book a placeholder cruise when you are on board and then change it to the new sailing once they get released

Thanks for this Ellen. Glad you transcribed it, now we can see how it changes.

BTW, we are missing Grand Cayman tomorrow, I guess the swells are very high there.

I understand the difference between year-round and seasonal caribbean, but which routes/ships are which? After the year-round itineraries are released, I don't know how to figure out what is yet to come out later in the month so it's hard to make a decision.

Bob,

Enjoy your cruise!

Just off Serenade yesterday, had our share of rough weather.

I am curious, what would the advantage for RCI to release their itineraries so late compared to their competitors? They can always adjust pricing at any given time. Or is it the "this is the way we've always done it" type of a thing as historically they have always waited until the Spring.

They could theoretically make changes to the ships itineraries based on competitors itineraries and overall market trends later than other lines.

Also, they have more time to sell charters vs putting out a schedule, have people book and then cancel on them when they charter the ship. They also have more time to decide if another Vision class ship will leave the fleet (bound to happen with new ships coming in both 2018 and 2019) - to avoid a Legend like situation.

Interesting! It's May and none of this has been released. I'm looking for Australia March -- April, 2019.

Thanks,
