marc_b2001 Posted February 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2017 Hi fellow cruisers...I know Carnival forbids bringing water onboard, but has anyone brought or tried to bring in their carry-on cans of flavoured Perrier? Not sure if they consider Perrier as water. Or does anyone have ideas of alternatives to soda (and wine...) that we can bring on board. Thanks. Rudyard Posted February 1, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2017 (edited) The only water banned is bottled. I brought on some cans of Canada Dry flavored water on my last cruise, so unless something's changed in the past ten months you should be OK. Butterbean1000 Posted February 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2017 We brought on La Croix flavored water last cruise and it was ok. As long as it's in a can, it's ok.
tandemcruzr Posted February 1, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2017 You can bring 1 750ml bottle of wine on board for each person 21 or older.

easyboy Posted February 2, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 2, 2017 We just pre-purchased bottled water. No hassle and cheap.
dmdiver Posted February 2, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 2, 2017 If your perrier is in cans 12 ounces or less, no problem. It's bottles that they won't let you bring on board. Well, other than a 750ml bottle of wine per adult over 21.
Rare sparks1093 Posted February 2, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 2, 2017 We just pre-purchased bottled water. No hassle and cheap. Same here and since it's bottled spring water DW actually drank it and enjoyed it.
GulfCoaster Posted February 2, 2017 #10 Share Posted February 2, 2017 We always take Perrier with us as we like the sodium count (zero) vs. Club Soda which is usually sodium high. The Perrier cans are the thin style type - 10 ounces each and they come 10 cans to a case, so you will be fine. We usually bring 1 case on board in carry-on with 1 bottle of wine each. On our last cruise out of NOLA they tore the Perrier cases open and took out each can to examine. Then they re-packed them up and taped the carton closed. That was that. No big deal. We had ordered bottled water and a bottle of Goose for the cabin. Both in the cabin when we arrived.
