bogofman Posted February 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2017 What beer is allowed using the three drinks on the card with diamond membership, in the bars around the ship, is it just bottles of bud or can I gave draft beers, guiness etc, Last cruuse we were diamond but had a drinks package included so never needed to find out
Brit-Cruiser Posted February 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2017 The beers on the diamond drink list are: Budweiser Miller lite Amstel lite Corona Heineken I guess you would not have a problem ordering any of these if they are available on draught. As for Guinness, it would be chargeable. Hope this helps.
Ken at the beach Posted February 11, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2017 It may vary slightly by ship. In January on Allure Corona was not listed as an available drink.
Iluvcruising2 Posted February 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2017 If you get along with the bartender (be friendly, give some tips), they can give you almost anything you want with this Diamond Perk..... :):)
sddsddean Posted February 12, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2017 If you get along with the bartender (be friendly, give some tips), they can give you almost anything you want with this Diamond Perk..... :):) Definately agree with this. Being a Brit, I only drink stuff like Bud under duress and much prefer a UK bitter beer (Boddingtons or similar). A friendly word and and the odd green back has never failed me yet!:D Simon

Brit-Cruiser Posted February 12, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 12, 2017 I actually copied the beer list from the card left in our cabin on our Oasis cruise in December. Corona was definitely available on our sailing.
LXA350 Posted February 12, 2017 #10 Share Posted February 12, 2017 No Corona in December on Harmony and also not on Ovation in January. Looks like another cost saving measure that RCCL has applied

Rare crewsweeper Posted February 13, 2017 #17 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Sort of off topic, but is there any craft beer in bottles or on tap on the Oasis? Gawd, hate to have to cruise and only have the mass produced stuff available. Not sorry to hear Corona unavailable at all. :p

If you're an IPA fan they have Longhammer and in very rare occasions Dogfish Head 90. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
knittinggirl Posted February 13, 2017 #20 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Our Dos X is never on their list either, but we can use our BOGO coupons for that.

I'll do Sam and SN when nothing else exciting is around. And Pilsner Urquell and Leffe are good on the import front assuming they aren't too old, i.e., been sitting around in the bottles for a long time.
