piratelooksat45 Posted March 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2017 Boy do I miss ho-hum and idle jottings! In attempt to wake this board up - here's my question. What is the favorite food you ever had while on SeaDream? There were lots of items in the running, but my vote is for the White Tomato Cappuccino soup with toasted pumpkin seeds. ctbjr1309 Posted March 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 10, 2017 Yes, but Red Stripe is considered dog food. Those in the know, realize that I concur with that.
Jim Avery Posted March 10, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 10, 2017 I believe "those in the know" are sleeping in a tent in Dubai......Or somewhere like that......With a case of Dom Perignon no less.

There are others who fortunately are neither in a tent nor in Dubai but unfortunately are nowhere near Dom or any reasonable facsimile thereof :(. Zimmy Posted March 13, 2017 #9 Share Posted March 13, 2017 The mussels. Not all the time, but most of the time. Sometimes they change it up; I like it when they stick to the classic. But in January they were fantastic.
whatnot Posted March 14, 2017 #10 Share Posted March 14, 2017 My DH always gets the mussels when they are available! He loves them! For me, it is hard to pick a favorite. On our last cruise in February we had Asian spiced Quail with Basmati Rice and Bok Choy for lunch. It was a great dish! I did love the Caviar Surprise (the egg with caviar) but then I got an allergy to caviar. They did me one without the caviar on the last cruise but it just wasn't the same! The food is always wonderful!

BeignetBoy Posted March 22, 2017 #14 Share Posted March 22, 2017 I also miss Ho-Hum! But, since you asked, my favorite food is probably the Osso Bucco .. and my wife's is probably the Cherry Ice Cream.
TrapperZimmy Posted March 25, 2017 #15 Share Posted March 25, 2017 I have very plebeian tastes. Lounging at the pool in the afternoon, I will order a bowl of popcorn. It must be everyone's favorite, too, because within half an hour it seems like everybody has popcorn. But I also liked sharing mussels and fries for lunch with Zimmy in January. I also enjoy the glass of bubbly I'm handed as I first board the yacht. I know it isn't Dom, but what I also know is that our vacation has officially begun. That glass says "Welcome Home." whatnot Posted March 27, 2017 #16 Share Posted March 27, 2017 OK I must add that I also love having Provence Rose Wine at lunch. But on the last cruise the Rose was not from Provence, which they had in the past. It was good but not as good as on the past!

mcpepe Posted May 10, 2017 #18 Share Posted May 10, 2017 This is a tough one. I love the bbq shrimp and the ribs at the beach bbq. I love the egg filled with caviar. I agree the mussels are quite good. Too many to remember!
