mysticlady2 Posted March 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2017 I was wondering if I could request a table for two for our late dining dinner? If so who should I contact and when ?
camarowesley Posted March 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2017 We do anytime dining and just request it each night. Never been a problem.

riffatsea Posted March 16, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2017 When you get on board you can go to the dining room and speak to the maitre d. Wanting a table for 2 is one of the main reasons we do Your Time Dining. We ask for a table for 2 each night. IF we like the wait staff we get on the first night we continue to request their area for the rest of the cruise. IF we don't like them then we switch. easyboy Posted March 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2017 Aside from the Maitre D', you can also ask the Headwaiter the night before, or when you get onboard on embarkation day.
RHilla619 Posted March 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 16, 2017 With anytime time dining it's a guarantee, but with set early/late dinning it's still do-able. Head to the main dinning room on embarkation day, but during the day before the chaos of the first dinner begins. Ask to speak to the maitre'd and make your request. hotsauce126 Posted March 16, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 16, 2017 As others have said, if its really important to you and you want to guarantee it, do your time dining. If you really want to keep assigned dining try talking to the maitre'd on embarkation day. A lot of people on here have had success emailing the maitre'd, but I've never gotten a response or had my request granted.
mysticlady2 Posted March 16, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted March 16, 2017 Thank you everyone for your feedback. Is there much difference if I choose my time dinning rather than set time dinning? I have never been on Carnival before and am curious.
cb at sea Posted March 16, 2017 #9 Share Posted March 16, 2017 No difference in menu or dress code. It's just with ANYTIME dining, you can go and eat whenever you feel like it. With "set" dining, you will need to show up to the same table at the same time nightly. We prefer tablemates, so we always do set/traditional dining, and ask for a large table!
