Argentina Reciprocity fee

I know this has been asked before, but are US citizens required to pay this fee? I think I heard the rule has changed since 2016?

We are doing South America in 2028 and want to know if this is necessary?

As of March, 2016 the $160 fee has been suspended. I would check closer to 2018 to confirm that it is still suspended.

It is currently suspended for US passport holders. Which cruise will you be on? We will be on the Emerald from BA around the horn and up to LA. Sails Feb 28, 2018

Did not know that ..Good to know

 

Even though we paid the fee when we cruised the Star to Antarctica and it was suppose to be good for 10 years.

 

Definitely less hassle now that it's suspended

It was suspended when Obama was there in late March 2016 but who know what will happen in the future.
