Rare Solent Richard Posted April 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2017 Bonjour Mesdames et Messieurs. I recently sailed into the French port of Le Havre. While recognised as an easy gateway to paris, Honfleur and the Normandy beaches those destinations may not always be attractive to all cruise ship passengers. I have therefore written a review on my cruise blog on what I found to do in a day... The review contains over 50 photographs and a map to guide the visitor to the Le Havre Funicular... Here is the link to the full review... https://solentrichardscruiseblog.com/2017/04/17/one-way-to-do-le-havre/

malteserdani Posted August 14, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Hi all. Nearly time to cruise!!!! How is everyone getting on with plans for shore days? We are going to do our own thing and visit the towns so does anyone have ideas? We are a group of 4 so if anyone wants to join up for travel that would be great. For the formal dining nights, Is this a must? Our kids are not keen on dressing up (13 and 18 yr old boys!) so is there another option for dining when this is on? Can't wait to meet you all at sail away. Is the pool bar still the plan???
