Escape UBP

Recommended Posts

Got off my first NCL cruise in February and was blown away by the Epic. We are looking at the Escape and was just curious if the UBP can't be used at any of their specialty bars?

For instance on the EPIC the Ice Bar wasn't included

Mostly these 3 bars:

Sugarcane Mojito Bar

The District Brew House

5 O'clock Somewhere

TIA

UBP can be used all bars (inside and out on the Waterfront). E.g., 5 O'clock has an inside and outside bar, as does the Cellars wine bar. The Brewhouse already hangs out over the edge of the ship, so no outside bar there. And the Sugarcane bar is inside of Bayamos and Pinchos Tapas bar. At night, one of the better bars areas is the Skyline bar (which combines the casino bar and Bliss areas on the Breakaway and Getaway).

Sugarcane monitor bar was one of my favorite places on Escape. Beverage package works. The District is very comfortable and almost all beers are included. Escape is fantastic, enjoy!

ALMOST? All the beers are not included? With all the beer choices I was wondering if they do flights. I love craft beer and would like to try all of the ones I've never had but 75 beers would be a lot.

The District Brew House

Let your hair down in a never-before-seen party at sea. Order one of more than 50 different bottled beers or any of the 24 draft beers on tap, including local Miami craft beer from Wynwood Brewing Company – exclusively on Norwegian Escape

There are actually a few beers that are over the $15 limit, so you would pay the amount over $15 for those particular beers. The vast majority are included and completely covered by the UBP.

I did the Epic as my first ship and then the Escape. If you liked the Epic, you will LOVE the Excape, its like - 10x more glamourous and things to do... I still like the Epic, but I would choose the Xcape over it any day.

I had no issues using the UBP anywhere on the Excape except the automatic wine dispensers, which are not included. Also, free shots often made their way to my particular group(s) for some reason. Make sure to get a stack of $1s and give them out to your regulars...you won't be sorry.

Does anyone know if Johnny Walker Blue Label is available on the Escape? It was available on the Jewel for the Panama Canal cruise last Feb, just curious, thank you

Yes, I saw it at Tobacco Road, but it’s def not included in the UBC!

Does anyone have the drink menus so I could see what is offered and the cost? So drinks over $15 are not included? What costs more than that? Are drinks of the day included? Also are there any other restrictions like 15 drink limit or waiting 5 mins in between to get another drink? Virgin drinks included?

If a drink costs more than $15, you pay the difference + 20 percent gratuity. No waiting or drink limits. They can cut you off if they see you are wasted. Yes, virgin drinks are included. Anything up to $15, and that also includes the drink of the day, which is usually $8.95.
