Working 2 Cruise Posted July 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2017 They aren't free on any ship in the Princess fleet, so, my guess would be no.
Lucky TGO Posted July 2, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2017 Are the cappuccinos still free from the Lobby Bar on Diamond Princess I don't think so. Sorry. Tony
JF - retired RRT Posted July 2, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 2, 2017 If you buy a coffee card, they are discounted (until you run out of punches - 15).

Calabazar Posted July 2, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 2, 2017 According to this review you can Lobby Bar: A small selection of pastries is served throughout the day at the Lobby Bar on Deck 5. It's also the only spot on the ship to get free cappuccinos. http://www.cruisecritic.com.au/reviews/review.cfm?ShipID=296&pgtype=dining

CruiseCritic seems to magnify this, as someone will post something that is wrong, and then a few days later someone will come along and said I read <whatever> and then the disinformation has a life of its own. For instance, embarcation lunch is for club class cruises only. I read it here, it must be true.

Whilst I am aware that The Internet is not to be blindly trusted, I was only trying to add something slightly more useful than 'my guess is' or 'I think'. Over to someone who knows for sure... danny8826 Posted July 2, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 2, 2017 I have the same question too because whatever Cruise Critic said sounds too good to be true.
trabeler Posted July 2, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 2, 2017 I was on the Diamond from Australia last year and the cappuccinos or lattes or any other specialty coffees were definitely not free at the lobby bar. I went through two coffee cards on that cruise... mostly from coffees from the lobby bar...

SantaFeFan Posted July 2, 2017 #12 Share Posted July 2, 2017 Yes, they are free - free for you if someone else pays for it. ;p I bought my wife a coffee card, so the fifteen espressos and cappuccinos she drank on our last cruise were free - for her, at least. :)
Mapu Posted July 4, 2017 #13 Share Posted July 4, 2017 The only way they are "free" is if you have the all inclusive beverage package.
