Bextra1256 Posted August 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2017 Is the back (Lido Liner Aft Pool) open to all ages? I like the location at the back of the ship but will be traveling with a child. Thanks

Daphne'sMom Posted August 13, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2017 Disclaimer: I do not know this for fact. I think there was a post that Carnival was going to allow adult only pools on ships (Splendor was one of them), to be family friendly during peak travel times like spring break, summer & holidays. During the less crowded times these would again be adult only.
SadieN Posted August 13, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 13, 2017 The FunTimes will have the info whether or not the pool is Adult Only or not. There should also be signs. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

cb at sea Posted August 13, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 13, 2017 Here's the easiest way to do this....wait until you're ON the ship, and see if the pool is adult only. If so, you will find some other place to take your child! You could always use the aft pool when your child is doing some activity in the kid's club. I actually won't have kids but a family member traveling with me will. I could ditch them for quiet. Lol
hapytobehr Posted August 18, 2017 #13 Share Posted August 18, 2017 The aft pool is adults only. It was changed back after all the complaints.

PalmTree601 Posted August 18, 2017 #16 Share Posted August 18, 2017 We just got off Splendor on Sunday (8/13) and the sign was posted "Adults only" on the aft pool, and it had only adults in it for the most part. I also noticed that Splendor had a nice-looking "splash pad" type water area for kids - in addition to the water slide and 3 pools (including the adult-only aft pool, not including hot tubs). Have a great cruise!

I'm sure that is very helpful -- UNLESS she is asking for purposes of deciding what cabin location to book, as her message implied. It doesn't cost extra to be nice, you know.
