Rare rafinmd Posted August 14, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Nieuw Amsterdam bridge wing looks squarer than I expected. May I try your knowledge on a question that's come up on my roll call. How familiar are you with Astoria? Someone was asking how far it is from the dock to the waterfront trolley? Thanks Roy

Rare Scrapnana Posted August 14, 2017 Author #15 Share Posted August 14, 2017 When I left for the pool NA was right behind Eurodam. Now Solstice is in between them with NA a good distance behind. Did anybody see when this happened?
Rare rafinmd Posted August 14, 2017 #16 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Looks like Solstice waved off Endicott Arm today. Rendezvous of St. Peter and Nieuw Amsterdam was very late today. Copper, your link had the answer I was looking for. Thanks Roy

Rare rafinmd Posted August 14, 2017 #19 Share Posted August 14, 2017 But NA always slows to meet Allen Marine at that point. Perhaps the difference is that she was well behind Eurodam right from early morning when she usually starts out in front. NA moving quite smartly now. Perhaps she was delayed by traffic in the Inside Passage. Eurodam passing Thane. I guess today I'll have time to go home between Eurodam and NA.
