drvmywifecrzy Posted August 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Has anyone seen if this is live yet? It promises in and out of 25mins on port days which would be great Sent from my iPhone using Forums
kwokpot Posted August 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2017 The menu has been on the Vista since the beginning of the year. My favorite is the Broken egg sandwich. Really tasty on grilled bread, looks like something you might find at panera Bread. It comes with potato chips with I thought was unnecessary. That's your standard disclaimer about eating eggs too undone and the small chance is salmonella. You see that in EVERY restaurant menu and also under seafood items. nicole9s Posted August 23, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 23, 2017 It looks interesting - just think, a way for millennials to get avocado toast without forsaking their mortgage payments! lol One thing, I'm reading it that the 25 minutes 'express' breakfast is only the item that is in the box at the top of the menu, not the whole menu. Only later in the menu does the * appear to indicate a food safety notice. I'm wondering why the quotes are there myself. The quotes detract from the menu if people question their use. What could be interpreted if the menu listed orange "juice" or crisp "bacon" or at worst hot "coffee" ? Other than the "eggs" I really like this new menu and I hope it gets a great response. OK I see what you're saying. Agreed, not sure what they are implying with the quotes! I'm curious if they also have the updated Deli menu in the Buffet on the Victory. Here is a link to Google photos of both of the new menus that were on the Vista: https://goo.gl/photos/JPkE1CkgoJBESgFR9 BTW, the Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies they had there were really yummy! michiganredrose Posted August 23, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 23, 2017 That sounds fantastic, better than spending 20 minutes waiting in line for an omelet. I can get pretty much anything I would want for breakfast and spend less time than I would in the buffet.
JaniceB Posted August 23, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Agree, sound like a great idea. I hope it works so I can get my husband to go to breakfast in the dining room instead of the buffet.

Be advised that the express breakfast is only that listed in the black box at the top of the new menu and is offered only on days the ship is in port. For such a highly limited "express" breakfast, I'm not sure why anyone would want that. Why not just grab eggs, bacon, sausage and some bread in the buffet if in a hurry? coevan Posted August 23, 2017 #13 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Wish they would serve past 9 am, that's usually our wake up call. We have never waited near 20 minutes at the omelette station, a little exaggeration?
G&TQ Posted August 23, 2017 #14 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Question. They have avacado toast but no mention of avacado? Does it have avacado? Yummmm. I know stupid question but the description does not mention it. Sent from my Z981 using Forums mobile app

Rare jimbo5544 Posted August 23, 2017 #17 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Options are a good thing, this certainly people wanting to get off and not be with the many on Lido another option. Hopefully it catches on. We would certainly try it if offered on a ship we were sailing. It appears they have been listening to some of the comments on how busy Lido can be during those days when the entire ship wants to get off. martinchem Posted August 23, 2017 #18 Share Posted August 23, 2017 In and out once seated may be 25 minutes, my concern is the wait time to get in the restaurant.
