Once again US gets better deals than those booking the same cruises in the UK getting fed up of Cunard's attitiude towards UK customers.

Just received a "sailing soon" brochure, code PL6: "Save up to 40% off Launch Fares and receive Free Gratuities"

Some nice fares for TAs....but many listed categories are sold out. (For a December B2B TA it's much more expensive to piece together the two segments than to book the entire 14 days!) :(

This is discussed frequently, but it is only a half truth. The UK bookings offer different discounts than in North America. Some are better and some are worse. Friends in England often tell us the deals available only to UK residents and they ask us what it would cost us for the same trip. They take one or two trips a year but give us information on several others.

For their last BTB Transatlantic at a special rate, it would cost us 2 1/2 times what they paid when converting £ to Canadian $. That is an extreme example, but most of the time our cost would be 50% to 100% more. Also, unless the deal has changed, UK residents get a "free" economy flight with a one-way Transatlantic. For us, it has never been free for many years.

There is no doubt we do get offers not available in the UK, but it is not one-sided.
