Yes, all the US based ships will carry the game.

Last year we were on the Island Princess for the game. It was shown on MUTS, in the Explorer Lounge and in the Casino. They had wings, chili, etc. and of course, drinks wee available.

We will be on the Caribbean Princess during the SuperBowl. What can I expect for viewing options and Parties?

The game will be on MUTS out side and it's great watching it on the big screen and the sound is also great.

I have seen at least 4 Super Bowl games it's awesome. Go Patriots. :)

They have a big deck party atmosphere with chow.

And forget about the Patriots. Enough already. :halo:

OK. How good is that Brady kid. G.O.A.T. :D

I heard that the rowboat really does it right for the Super Bowl. A huge 13" TV and a plate of Vienna sausages. It doesn't get any better than that. I'm IN! :D

MUTS, best Superbowl fun you can have, out at sea, on the open deck, waitstaff come around with popcorn, cookies, even other goodies during the Superbowl, bring your drink order. For us, it was a Stella and pizza. At some point, even if your team isn't in the lead, you have to stop and think that it doesn't get much better than this.

My friend Thrak,

You will be on the Caribbean Princess this coming year it's too bad. I would have made you the guest of honor at the Rowboat's Super Bowl party. So you just have to watch the Patriots win number 6 on the ship

and miss the Super Bowl party on the Rowboat.

The Captain of the Rowboat,

Tony

Yes, it was on the Island Princess this year. We got to the MUTS upper level early to get some lounge chairs. Sound was good, but you won't see the commercials. Food available was wings, chips and salsa, maybe guac, and meatballs, popcorn. The grilling stations were open for other food.

You know it's a hardship. I'll struggle through somehow but it just won't be the same. I will, of course, be rooting for the Packers but should the Patriots win I promise (seriously) to raise a glass in your honor.

(I won't actually be on CB as we don't sail until March 18.)

We were on the Island during one SB. They showed it on MUTS and set up tables near the pool with finger food like wings, chips etc. It was quite elaborate and they had the usual drinks from the bar. They also showed the SB in the theater less the food. It was great and we had a really good time. You should be aware that time blocks are held for local advertisements so that all we saw were the national ones with blank spaces where the local ones would be. Actually that was quite nice since only the national ones are of interest not in what they are hawking but on their presentation.

I've watched a few on board, and it is super fun, but if you want to watch it on MUTS get out there early if you want a good chair. Honestly I'm talking 3 to 4 hours before kickoff.

We were on the Island for Super Bowl this year and they did a great job. Showed it on Muts and in Larger bar on big screen. They served lots of tailgate type food and the casino sold football squares. Only thing we missed were the commercials- they buy a live feed from ESPN and there are none. Enjoy!

Hi Thrak,

If the Packers win everyone on the Rowboat will have a double shot of my special Johnny Walker Blue label scotch in your honor.

Do you really have to get on deck as early as 7am to secure a seat for the SuperBowl ? The only way I'll stake a seat out that early is if the NY Football Giants make it to the game.

We boarded the Regal Princess this year on Super Bowl Sunday. We were unable to find an empty lounger for the MUTS screen at 1:30 p.m. We had to watch it in Club 6 which was not too comfortable. Sure wish it had been on the stateroom tv's. but then Princess would have sold fewer drinks and room service would have been run to exhaustion.

Am I correct in thinking that the next Super Bowl will be on Feb.4th-------the date when Tommy wins his 6th ring?

I actually changed my cruise date from Super Bowl Sunday one after the New England Patriots get their 6 ring.

Got to admit it's all about management and team players and New England does have both.

But going on CP and with the changes happening if I miss the game... I will not be a happy cruiser.
