Rare shof515 Posted September 1, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2017 you can do it NOW until the night before of sail date (usually the cut off is around midnight i think)
poohdreaming Posted September 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Do it now or when you can asap as you can have this off your list of things to do and you can choose a time when you would like to check in.
Rare BirdTravels Posted September 1, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Cruising in 57 days. When should online check in be done? Is it time sensitive? As soon as you book the cruise Reservations for dining (and shows on mega ships) open 90 days out and popular times will sell out. The longer you wait, the more things you will miss out. zqvol Posted September 1, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 1, 2017 There is no time frame to complete your online check in. When you grab a few minutes go ahead and do it. It is not critical either way, but if you forget to do it check in at least two hours prior to sailaway.
Stace894 Posted September 1, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2017 I'm 288 days out (sigh!) and I've already completed mine. Easier to just get it done.
garycarla Posted September 1, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 1, 2017 There is no GOOD reason to wait. There are many reasons to get it done now. Here is a real good one. On one cruise, I did not realize our passports were about to expire until I typed it into the form. Really, why wait?
cruiser man 60 Posted September 1, 2017 #8 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Can you check in if you are in a guaranteed cabin i.e. No allocated cabin yet?
Rare BirdTravels Posted September 1, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Can you check in if you are in a guaranteed cabin i.e. No allocated cabin yet? Yes. Cabin assignments can be made as late as day of cruise.
don't-use-real-name Posted September 1, 2017 #10 Share Posted September 1, 2017 You don't have to fill out the all the data required at one time. You can do this in bits and pieces. The process will save all your data as you enter it. You will not be able to generate your E-Docs until the data is complete. E-Docs can be initiated without a cabin assignment. At Registration (Check-In) your E-Docs has a bar code which when scanned will allow rapid issuing of your Key Card for whatever cabin is assigned. Only step left at Registration is arranging financial payment of your on board account. With all this done - wait to board the ship and sail away. As noted - the earlier you assemble and log your data in the better. If some required data is missing the process will not let you proceed further until corrected Have expiration date errors on your Passport this needs to be corrected ASAP Dining Reservations can be booked 90 days from sailing (100 in a Haven or Suite)
