Captain's Club now selling shore based show tickets

Got an E-mail this morning from Celebrity pitching show tickets for local show's at reduced prices. I guess just another way to make money, maybe they will reduce cruise costs.

I remember a similar email quite a while back. Won't be using it since it may involve their website. That is not worth any possible discount to me.;)

They've done this in the past as well ... think it has been available for the last couple of years. I don't find the discounts to be that great but hey, they are at a small discount. I can usually do better through other wholesaler sites, though.

This would be ok if it was reduced prices for La Scala.

They also did this some time ago. I followed the link and found a number of Broadway shows offered for pretty much the same prices that can be found ( some for less$$) on a number of Broadway ticket sites.

They are selling Phantom tickets for well over $110, which is way too high.

Do you think Celebrity is offering this to compensate for the poor entertainment on their ships?

 

It would be nice if we could use our non refundavle SBC.

I don't think it's poor, there are just not enough choices.

 

How ciuld one possibly use SBC? Or was that sarcasm?
