Ocean Boy Posted October 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2017 It's a gathering to get watered down free drinks. I am pretty sure that the last one we went to didn't have watered down drinks. They tasted like they were alcohol free to me.
deliver42 Posted October 23, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2017 I thought the event was only on 7 day and longer. I could be wrong. it won't be the first time.

sargejenn Posted October 23, 2017 #7 Share Posted October 23, 2017 Ask the wait staff for a beer at these events. They will usually be glad to bring you a draft and that can’t be watered down!
CruisefreakOH Posted October 23, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 23, 2017 "Top Tier" is everyone Platinum and above, and from past experience, that's about half of the passengers. Haven't gone to one of these events in years.
welshrich Posted October 23, 2017 #9 Share Posted October 23, 2017 Each ship does their own thing, and it can even change based on itinerary.. They held one on the recent Majesty 4 nighter we sailed on a few weeks ago. We did go along as SO likes Guinness and the wait staff brought it to him (we do remember to 'thank' them too). Rare BillOh Posted October 23, 2017 #10 Share Posted October 23, 2017 Each ship does their own thing, and it can even change based on itinerary.. And can change based on the number of C&A guests on board.
blackshirt Posted October 23, 2017 #11 Share Posted October 23, 2017 Ask the wait staff for a beer at these events. They will usually be glad to bring you a draft and that can’t be watered down! They don’t water down the wine either, at least I hope they don’t. 🙂
KPookey Posted October 23, 2017 Author #12 Share Posted October 23, 2017 Thanks all. I’m still gold level, but one of my cruises from 2001 which was sailed in my maiden name is not showing in my history. I’m trying to decide whether to push the issue so i become platinum level. I would call C&A ahead of time to get it all sorted before you cruise though.
jr8934 Posted October 23, 2017 #15 Share Posted October 23, 2017 KPookey, I recently called C&A over two missing names of ships we sailed. I was told I needed to send proof that we had been on these cruises.
KPookey Posted October 24, 2017 Author #16 Share Posted October 24, 2017 Hmm. Proof? They will probably tell me that too. I’ll have to dig around and see if I have anything. I may have kept the cards you get on board, lol. Thanks all.
Biker19 Posted October 24, 2017 #17 Share Posted October 24, 2017 Proof? I’ll have to dig around and see if I have anything. Even a picture with the ship in the background is usually enough.
Riverviewnb Posted October 24, 2017 #18 Share Posted October 24, 2017 I keep all my cards from all cruise lines, they are a great reminder of past cruises.
